Her first novel was...Iola LeRoy (Shadows Uplifted) in 1892. But she had published poetry way back in 1845.

Now I would like to read Iola LeRoy.

FYI Lucy Terrel published wrote a poem in 1746 but I think it wasn't published until the late 1700's.
