My favorite verse novel is Paradise Lost by John Milton. In beautiful language Milton portrays man's fall from perfection and the loss of their place in Eden. The issues of Satan's rebellion, justice, suffering, and faith are also examined from more than one perspective. A fascinating account.

Ah, this was a challenging read for me in college. I thought this was an epic poem. Remember, I did say the work was a challenge for me. :-)

Thanks, Sandra.
