Fertile Ground

love smells good

like Nautica and Tide
and warm clothes
from the dryer
morning coffee kisses

During the month of April, I participated in Poetic Asides 30 poems in 30 days Challenge. Here's PAD #14: write a love poem or anti-love poem.

Poetry Friday is hosted this week by Maya at Allegro.

I like this one too especially the last line. My husband can identify with morning coffee kisses or kiss.

Aww, this reminds me of that 50's/60's Casinos song...
Sweeten my coffee with a morning kiss...Nautica and Tide, though! I love that modern touch.

I'll be a wet rag with you. Many of us, I'm sure, take a lot of time creating our Poetry Friday posts. It stinks when no one comments or visits. Glad you got some hits this week. Your poem is very sensory!

This poem gives me such a warm feeling. I love clothes fresh out of the dryer. I think it's the third laundry poem I've read this morning. Guess I know what should enjoy doing today!! :)
